I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was beautifully decorated in a shabby chic style and fully equipped with everything I needed. The views over the countryside were excellent. The service was top-notch, and the location was convenient for exploring Cornwall. The dining experience was satisfying, and the facilities met my expectations.

The room was perfectly accessible and had a seating area that extended into the bedroom, but there were noticeable dust and spider webs in the corners. The previous occupant's empty shampoo sachet was still in the shower. Unfortunately, the room was very cold with the only radiator in the toilet, and the provided portable heater didn't work. The shower also malfunctioned, making it difficult to get hot water, resulting in a cold shower. Despite these issues, the room was suitable for a short stay.

The staff were away at the time, so no breakfast was available. Although they were helpful and friendly. There were concerns about the newly opened bar in Looe taking the focus away from the hotel guests.

The location was good, with a comfortable room. However, it was a bit far from the nearest bar/restaurant for entertainment in bad weather. It was ideal for our needs, only a 3-mile drive into Looe with views of rolling hills.
